Important Financial Notes
• Scholarships are funded by an organization, foundation, church, state, or private entity
partially.
• Expect some personal expenses, such as:
• Travel costs
• Health insurance
• Official translations of required documents
• Notarization of documents
• Funding varies greatly between scholarships.
• For English-speaking countries, passing a
TOEFL or IELTS exam is often required.

* Obligations During Your Study Abroad

Students sent abroad through ETF scholarships must:
• Report to the designated contact person at the host university and, for church or other
