            11th Biennial Conference for Research in Diaconia and Christian Social Practice (ReDi)with

            "Diaconia in Need - Strengthening Diaconia from within"
            Organised by Protestant Theological Faculty, Charles University, Prague, 22-25.9.2927.


            In response to the range of challenges we witness worldwide in the last decade the confere
            on the need to reflect Diaconia’s inner sources and to strengthen its potential in order t
            readiness to enter the public space with its prophetic voice and acts whatever the circums

            may be. Forced migrations, pandemics taking away our freedom and lives, disregard to const
            democracy, international law, undermined respect to human rights and human worth,  disrega

            intellect by the rise of AI, fragility of safe environment due to armed conflicts, violenc
            as means of reaching particular interests, growing painful divisions in our societies, org
            even partnerships, as if shared values of truth, trust, social justice, civil, communal an

            dimensions of our lives lost their place in the public space. While Diaconia may work hard
            how to tackle particular challenges in such contexts, and may even anticipate further scen
            world nearly going mad, equally it may need to draw attention to its inner sources as to t

            giving water can be drawn. 




                            The 11th Conference for Research in Diaconia and Christian Social
                              Practice (ReDi) on September 22 to 25, 2027 is approaching.
