Annotation (ENG): English summary: A few years ago, Petr Voit found a fragment of a printed treatise that originated from Jan Had´s printing workshop. It could be dated to the second half of the 16th century, and its theme was a polemic with the teachings of the Czech Brethren on the Eucharist. Voit attributed it to the Utraquist priest Pavel Bydžovský, who published hist texts at Had´s at the time and was one of the most famous polemicists against the Unity of the Brethren. However, the text was not written by Pavel Bydžovský, but by university master Martin of Počátky (+1504), and the text itself was first published in 1513 by Mikuláš Konáč of Hodíškov under the title On the heresies of the Picards. It is the very first printed polemic of the Utraquists with the Unity of Brethren, published in the context of the Utraquist´s negotiations with the Roman Church on union, and the leadership of the Unity itself responded to it immediately in 1513-1514. However, Bydžovský may indeed have been behind the second, newly discovered edition from the second half of the 16th century, as the old text was relevant not only to him but also to a wide readership in the Czech Lands.
