• Guided Tour of the Terezín Ghetto

  • Explore the former Jewish Ghetto with expert guidance, learning about its history and legacy.

• Lunch at restaurant

  • Lunch is included our trip

• Guided Tour of the Small Fortress

  • Visit the Small Fortress, a former Gestapo prison, with commentary on its role during WWII.

• Arrive bact to Prague approx 17:30 / 5:30pm.

Matriculation ceremony in the Aula Magna in the Carolinum

Thursday 2 October 2025 3:00pm

The Matriculation ceremony (lasting approximately 1/2 hour) will take place in Velká aula/Aula Magna in the Carolinum (Address: Ovocný trh 3/5, 116 36 Praha, 1st floor).

Matriculation OATH

You must be in Carolinum at least 20 minutes before the event starts, i.e. at about 14:40 pm. For those who want to go together with us, the meeting point is at the main entrance of the faculty, we will meet there at 14:15 pm.

If you decide to go to Carolinum on your own, remember to be there on time! Please dress festively (not in jeans), matriculation is a solemn ceremony.

Monday, 15 September

• 9:30 – Meeting at Protestant Theological Faculty, Černá 9, Prague 1, Lecture room F, door 302, 3rd floor → Beginning of Intensive Czech Language Course

• 12:45 – Introductory meeting for general information & light refreshment, Lecture room F

• 13:30 – Leave Faculty for registration & student ID card at UK Point, Celetná 13, Prague 1 (14:00)

  • Bring your ID or passport!

Tuesday, 16 September

• 9:15 – Intensive Czech Language Course, Lecture room F, door 302

• 12:30 – Lunch break (Student canteen Voršilská)

• 13:30 – Departure to get public transport pass (meeting point: Student canteen)

  • Bring your student card!

• Afternoon – Visit Royal Garden & Queen Anne's Summer Palace (Belveder) and walk around Letná

Wednesday, 17 September

• 9:15 – Czech Language Course, Lecture room F

• 12:30 – Lunch break

• 13:30 – Leave for Jewish Quarter visit (meeting point: Faculty)

• 14:00–17:00 – Guided tour of Jewish Quarter
