The Protestant Theological Faculty welcomes students with special needs. Access to all floors of the Faculty building by lift is possible for wheelchair users, but it is not so easy for them to get to the building by public transport (though not impossible). The Faculty does have some aids for students with special needs, such as an audible signal at the main entrance to the Faculty for the visually handicapped, toilets for wheelchair users, and a computer for use by the visually handicapped in the library. However, unfortunately we may not have the facilities to cater for everybody.
It would therefore be helpful if you could contact the well in advance to tell us what your specific needs are, so that we can see how we can try and meet them. You should also contact who is the person at our Faculty responsible for students with special needs. You can read more general information about provision for students with special needs at Charles University in English and in German.
