invites applications for the position of an assistant professor in Theological Ethics
for the bachelor’s and master’s degree program in Protestant Theology
Workload: 0.5
Requirements:
• Ph.D. in Protestant Theology with a particular focus on Protestant Theological Ethics,
• ability to teach in English,
• proposal for a grant project (workload: 0.5), which the candidate will be able to submit in the spring of 2027 to, e.g., the Czech Science Foundation (standard or postdoc projects).
Experience and publications in the field are an advantage.
Job description:
• Teaching in the English bachelor’s and master’s program in Protestant Theology,
• supervising bachelor and master theses,
• research and publishing activities,
• other activities corresponding to the position according to the conditions of Charles University.

• salary classification according to the internal salary regulations of Charles University (position AP2),
