The programme is carried out in cooperation with the Philosophical Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences. A dissertation in Philosophy of Religion may deal with a variety of topics related to the philosophy of religion, philosophy in its relation to religious issues, or history of religious ideas. The typical methodology is the analysis of philosophical or religious texts in their original languages.
Before applying, the candidates are supposed to consult their dissertation project with their potential supervisors recommended by the guarantor of the programme. During the interview, the project is discussed and knowledge of the languages required for its realisation is checked.

medieval and reformation history in general, especially the history and thinking of the Czech Reformation and its traditions |
PHILOSOPHY
Supervisors in the field of philosophy may also be assigned from among the senior researchers of the Philosophical Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences.
