The Research Ethics Committee is an advisory body to the Dean. It assesses the ethical aspects of research projects in terms of their aims, procedures, instruments and possible consequences. Such aspects include, in particular, the protection of the rights, dignity, health and safety of the persons involved in the research.
The work of the Committee is governed by both the Statutes of the Committee and the UK Research Data Management Policy and Methodology.
