Abstrakt (ENG): "Drawing inspiration from V.J. Propp’s classic study Morphology of the Folktale, this article describes an abstract morphology of Elisha’s short miraculous narratives in 2 Kings and then proceeds to a more detailed analysis of some of their peculiar features. Despite their vernacular coloring, these legends are profoundly marked by the image of prophecy that prevailed among Judean literati in the exilic and Persian periods. It thus seems that these texts were not only inserted into Kings in the postexilic period, but were also composed at that time, even if they may contain some ancient motifs."
