We strongly recommend that all applicants from countries that require a visa to stay in the Czech Republic submit their applications as early as possible. You are responsible for organising your legal stay in the Czech Republic, and the visa application process can be lengthy. Please read about the visa process carefully before submitting your application. You don't need to be concerned; we will fully assist you with your admission.
Applications are online only!
The admission process for our Protestant Theology programme is online only. Admission to it is conditioned by completed secondary education confirmed by a school-leaving certificate. All documents need to be translated to English or Czech. For filling the application, use the Application Guide that will walk you through the process step by step.
Please check the admission requirements carefully. Only complete application will be considered. If you want to add other non-mandatory documents that you feel will strengthen your application, you can upload them in the “other” field of the application.
In case you want to make changes to an already submitted application, please email us at – please, do NOT start another application for the same programme! Duplicite applications cannot be accepted.
Personal data will be used exclusively for organizing the admission process and program enrolments.
The entrance examination takes place in one round and has one oral part.
Discussion with the entry-exam commission about the applicant’s motivation for study and about his or her understanding of theology. The applicant chooses and reads at least two of the titles listed below. The discussion will be based on this lecture.

The application fee is currently 1500 CZK (ca 62 € / 72 $).
Payment must be made by the application deadline. We cannot process applications that are not paid in time.
The application fee must be paid in full by either card or bank transfer. No cash payments are possible. You will find the payment instructions at the end of your application form.
The application fee is separate from the tuition fee.
All applications are evaluated by an admissions committee based on the submitted documents and the entrance examination. Successful applicants will be informed as soon as possible, within 3-4 weeks after the respective deadline.
